About Nusrat

Nusrat Senior Secondary School is one of the many educational institutions run in various African countries by the worldwide Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam. Hazrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih-III (third successor to the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam) laid the foundation on 4th May, 1970. It is a co-educational institution without any discrimination based on clan, colour, creed, gender, race or nationality and is run under strict rules of discipline and academic performance.

Orientation of Grade 10s

The orientation of the new grade 10 intakes is on Saturday 28th October, 2023 at 10AM.

Science

All those with a total of 5 in Mathematics and Science and wants to do Science can see Mr Faal.

Submission of Admission Form

Printed admission forms should be submitted to the school starting from Thursday, 19th October, 2023.

Documents required:

Original copy of your GABECE (Grade 9 results)
Photocopy of your birth certificate
One (1) passport-size photo

All applicants must read and agree to the Terms & Conditions of the school before their admission forms are accepted. The Terms & Conditions will be provided for you to sign.

Uniforms and stationery will be available at the bookstore at a cost of D3,500. Parents are encouraged to purchase these materials from the school’s bookstore, but it is not mandatory.

SCIENCE CLASSES
THE SUM OF CREDITS IN MATHS & SCIENCE SHOULD BE LESS THAN OR EQUALS TO 4 POINTS AND YOUR AGGREGATE SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 27.

COMMERCE AND ARTS CLASSES (MORNING SHIFT)
THE SUM OF CREDITS IN MATHS & ENGLISH SHOULD BE LESS THAN OR EQUALS TO 8 POINTS AND YOUR AGGREGATE SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 27.

COMMERCE AND ARTS CLASSES (AFTERNOON SHIFT)

THE SUM OF CREDITS IN MATHS & ENGLISH SHOULD BE LESS THAN OR EQUALS TO 10 POINTS AND YOUR AGGREGATE SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 30.

Located in the Kanifing Municipality, Nusrat is one of the leading senior secondary schools in The Gambia. Established in May 1970, the first batch of students started in September 1971 and for well over a quarter-century now, Nusrat has become a household name in academics country wide.

HOW TO APPLY TO NUSRAT

Nusrat Online Registration Instructions

Prerequisite

Before using the Nusrat Online Registration System to apply…

Make sure you meet the school’s Cut-off Mark
Make sure Nusrat is your first choice of school
Make sure you have a valid e-mail address (gmail, yahoo,hotmail etc.)

Step 1: Website

To begin, click on the Apply page. The application page will open on a new tab. Use the form to sign up.

Step 2: Apply

On this page, click on Apply Now on the Nusrat Senior Secondary School section to start the application process.

Step 3: Exam Results

On the first page of the application process, you are required to provide your Index Number, Aggregate, Previous School and your scores in Mathematics and Science.

Step 4: Classroom Placement

On the next page, based on your aggregate and scores in Mathematics and Science you will be shown only the classes you are qualified for. Choose your preffered class and proceed to the next step.

NOTE: If a particular class is full it will be indicated.

Step 5: Personal Information

On this page, you are required to enter your personal information. (Don’t worry about uploading a profile image).

Step 6: Parent and Guardian Information

Enter your parent and guardian information in this step. If your parent is the same as your guardian, you may use the same information.

Step 7: Medical Information

In this step, you will need to enter your medical information if there is any. If you don’t have any medical history, learning difficulties or allergies; just type N/A in the boxes and proceed to the next step.

Step 8: Application Preview

In this step, you can preview and verify your information before completing the application process. If you have anything to change you may do so using the Previous button. If everything is okay, you can click Finish to submit your application.

Step 9: Done!

After clicking Finish, you will be automatically logged in to your account. At this point, your application shall be Pending until approved by the administrator. You may print a copy of your Application form and keep it.

If by any means you want to view your application status or change password and other details you can go to www.nusratsss.com and click on the login page using the same credentials used during the registration.

After approval, you will need to bring a printed copy of your Admission Form to the school with the original copy of your results, two passport size photographs, and your birth certificate. The date for submitting these details will be posted on the website, so keep checking regularly.

You can register with either a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. If by any means you can’t print out your admission form maybe because you registered with your smartphone or tablet, you can simply do this later.
