How to get a JAMB profile code
You can get a JAMB profile code by: 
Sending an SMS with the text “NIN YOUR NIN” to 55019 or 66019 
Using the USSD code 550191NIN# or 660191NIN#

You can log in to the JAMB intranet using your profile code as your username and your NIN number as your password.

You can get your profile code by sending your NIN to 55019 or 66019 via SMS or USSD. You need to create your profile code before the February 24, 2025 deadline. You must also follow the guidelines and solutions for creating the profile code.

It costs N50 to create or retrieve a JAMB profile code via SMS. When you send the SMS to 55019 or 66019, this amount is deducted from your airtime balance. You need to have enough airtime (at least N50) on your phone to create or retrieve your profile code.

No Not Really, the JAMB profile code does not expire. It remains valid for as long as you need it. However, you can only use it for one UTME registration cycle. If you want to register for another UTME in the future, you will need to create a new profile code.

How to Correct Wrong Data on JAMB

Select the application for data correction

Choose a change of institution or course
A transaction identification will be generated for you
Choose the payment method that you like
If you wish to pay immediately with your card, click continue
The amount of money charged for the change of course or institution will display
Click continue, and all the transaction details will appear, including the payment status on the payment section
You will be asked to provide your examination number, and examination year after your payment is successful
After you have entered the information, preferred institutions/courses will pop-up
Select the courses/institutions that you want 
Click on submit
JAMB will then process your application, if it is successful, your changes will be effected immediately.
