FUTA Pre-Degree Program 2024/2025
The management of the Federal University of Technology Akure wishes to announce to all interested persons that the pre-dree admission form is out. You can purchase the form at the cost of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) through the FUTA Pre-degree admission portal.
A pre-degree program is a preparatory course designed to help students transition from secondary school to university-level education. It runs for about 9 months and allows students to gain direct admission into the university, bypassing the need for UTME exams.

Admission Requirements for FUTA Pre-Degree Form 2024/2025
If you are interested in studying at the pre-degree level at FUTA, here are the conditions you need to meet to be eligible.
- Candidates should have a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects obtained in no more than two sittings. These must include English Language and Mathematics.
- For programs like Estate Management, Industrial Design, Urban and Regional Planning, Agricultural Economics and Extension, Ecotourism and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, and Crop Soil and Pest Management, a pass in Physics is sufficient.
- For Architecture, a pass in Chemistry is acceptable.
- Candidates who have deficiencies in their O-level results may still apply, but they must resolve these deficiencies before completing the 9-month program to remain eligible for admission.

How to Apply for FUTA Pre-Degree Admission Form 2024/2025
All candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) to access the application fee. Follow these steps to apply for pre-degree programs offered by FUTA:-
- Go to the FUTA Application Portal and click on “Create Account Here.” Choose your program (e.g., PDS/UABS).
- Use your username and password to access your account.
- Click on the “Payment” section to create an invoice. This will provide a transaction ID or invoice number, and an RRR code for Remita payment.
- Pay the application fee of ₦20,000 using the RRR code. You can pay at any bank or online through the Remita platform.
- If you have the RRR code, you can pay directly online using your ATM card at the Remita website.
- Log in again after making the payment to confirm and fill out the application form.
- Submit your completed application form and print the Acknowledgement/Screening Schedule slip.
